The design of these new holiday cottages is an evolution of the architectural style developed by The Bazeley Partnership and utilises stepped levels and discontinuous rooflines to follow the inherent topography of the site.

The use of natural materials and inclusion of curved zinc and green roofs further integrates the new development with the indigenous coastal landscape.

Sustainable elements include solar panels and air-source heat pumps. The soft landscaping will continue the use of organic shapes, coastal grasses and dune-like mounds, with the western edge of the site maintained as a wildlife habitat. Two new hedge banks will be created, along with a cycleway and footpath.
