This design led residential development evolved around a core architectural language, with two varying house types and a range of subtle touches incorporated into each individual property. This variation between houses delivers a diverse and interesting development and encouraged residents to put their own mark on their homes from an early stage.

Dark Roman-style horizontal brickwork at ground floor level adds texture and complements the grey glazing and trims, whilst the clean lines and smooth finish of the white render at first floor level provide a contrast.

Internally, the large open-plan ground floor opens out to a private garden at the rear. A feature staircase leads up to the generous bedrooms – some with ensuite bathrooms. Corner windows, glazed Juliet balconies and floor to ceiling windows ensure well-lit rooms, and a ‘pop-out’ family bathroom adds further interest.

The houses have been well-insulated and calculations to take into consideration the natural warmth and light of the sun have reduced heating demand and energy costs. Underfloor heating is included throughout and solar thermal panels provide free hot water all year-round.
