Tregwidden, Trevose Head
Tregwidden is an ongoing project that involves the replacement of a circa 1950s detached dwelling with a new modern family home which has, in its core ambition, a concern for using natural, healthy and low energy materials. Our clients’ brief was for the new home to be energy efficient, respectful of the site, its neighbours and the wider landscape.
The dwelling site sits within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) in Trevose Head, Cornwall.
The concept design from the replacement dwelling evolved from some key drivers: the clients’ desire to found the buildings design within the principles of sacred geometry, and the need to take full advantage of the views out to the coast from two directions.
