St. Michael’s Church Restoration, Newquay
Following a disastrous fire, The Bazeley Partnership became involved in major church restoration and conservation works to St. Michael’s the Archangel in Newquay, originally designed by Sir Ninian Comper.
The project received major funding from English Heritage, and in collaboration with English Heritage experts, the practice used its expertise in architectural conservation to complete a substantial repair of the church, restoring it to its former glory.
Winner of a CPRE/RIBA Award, 1998.
