Golf Course Site, Bude

The Golf Course Site is a project that involved the construction of 4 Dwellings in a sought-after location at the top of Broadclose Hill in Bude. The properties are grouped as a terrace of three and a single detached dwelling.

The scheme was designed with a series of forms that are familiar within the local context such as gabled roofs with gable addressing the street scene, with more contemporary detailing and styling then applied to this familiar massing arrangement.

Internally, living spaces are placed on the ground floor and are organised to take advantage of both the view to the north and east, and direct sunlight from the south. Bedroom spaces are placed at first floor level with main windows looking north from the terrace and east from the detached dwelling, towards the views of Bude’s beaches and the Cornwall coast.
