Tretharrup, Bodmin

OurĀ Tretharrup project involved the total refurbishment of an historic farmstead near Bodmin – comprising of what had been a rare Cornish Longhouse on the site of a Celtic dwelling.

More recently the buildings had been empty and neglected for thirty five years and had received planning permission to be buried beneath a china clay waste tip.

Block-built farm and dairy outbuildings and a lean-to privy were demolished and the house, barn and outbuilding were sympathetically repaired and a garden room formed in the cartway between them. The missing mullion was found beneath the outbuilding floor!
